The purpose of this position is to reconcile and process customer payments in a timely and accurate manner and to prepare the daily deposits of receipts.
Receive, prepare checks for deposits
Process application of checks, EFT, ACH and credit card payments ensuring that cash receipts are applied properly to paid customer invoices
Communicate and resolve customer payment differences to amounts invoiced.
Reconcile and process credit card payments for credit and pro departments
Process all cash application adjustments including approved write-offs
Apply credit or debits notes as requested by the credit analysts
Prepare daily cash application reconciliation sheets
Receive credit cards payments for miscellaneous, employee and staff employee accounts and release compliant orders.
Reconcile employee, staff employee and misc. accounts and process related claims when warranted
Perform other duties as assigned or required
May support internal and external audits by providing document research

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- College degree in the field accounting;
- At least 3-year experience in the field of accounting;
- Able to work autonomously;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Good capacity of analysis, synthesis and problem solving;
- Sense of initiative, teamwork and excellent judgment;
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Intermediate to expert level in Excel and Word;
- Knowledge of Data base ERP systems.
